Preschool FAQ

  • For the 2026 - 27 Preschool year:

    1) Read about our school.

    2) Email info@scuola.us to schedule a tour and ask an questions.

    3) Fill out the forms!

    We are a small and flexible non-profit program, so we try to accommodate parents and students where they are, so please don’t hesitate to reach out and let us know your situation.

  • No! We have kids who speak all levels of Italian – from none at all to fluent. It makes for an excellent mix of levels and learning. We intentionally keep class sizes and ratios low so each child receives individualized attention while learning in an immersion language environment.

  • The child must be 3 years of age and potty trained.

  • For the 2026-27 school year, we will provide snacks. Parents will provide lunch.

  • Yes, the Ramona has a playground in the center of the building for outdoor play.

  • The current student limit is 16. We intentionally keep class sizes and ratios low so each child receives individualized attention while learning in an immersion language environment.

  • We have Part-Time (PT) and Full-Time (FT) options.

    2-day option PT – $300

    3-day option PT – $450

    3-day option FT – $1000

    4-day option PT - $600

    4-day option FT - $1150

    5-day option PT - $750

    5-day option - $1300

    Partial scholarships are also available – email info@scuola.us for more information.

  • We calculate payments by day either on a monthly basis or paid in full at the beginning of the child’s enrollment. If you pay up front, you receive a 5% discount.

    We divide the annual cost equally across the year, prorating for mid-year enrollments.

  • Yes, as a non-profit, we want people of all economic levels to be able to attend our school. Please email info@scuola.us to learn more about scholarship options.

  • Yes. We do require that parents provide evidence of vaccinations, following the Multnomah County guidelines for vaccinations here: multco.us/school/school-immunizations. Email info@scuola.us for any questions or concerns.

  • Yes, we are in the PFA Pathways program and expect to have PFA slots available in the Fall 2026-27 school year. More info to come.
