Join us on December 1, 2023 from 10:00am – 1:00pm for a lively and social virtual cooking class with Pina Di Rosa and explore a Christmas staple from Southern Italy. All levels are welcome! You can learn how to prepare this dessert for your own family and learn about a piece of Italian culture. The class cost is $60 and does not include the cost of the food. A shopping list and other instructions will be provided before the class.

Struffoli are a typical Christmas dessert from the gastronomy of southern Italy,  but are mainly associated with Naples. At Christmas, every Neapolitan home has a plate full of small balls of dough fried and then dipped in honey and decorated with colored sprinkles and candied fruit. This “Eat as you speak (mangia come parli)” cooking class involves the preparation of both struffoli and candied oranges to decorate the struffoli themselves.

A small part will be done at home the day before the meeting. Further information will be provided at the time of registration.
