Special thanks to the Azzurri Club of Portland for their wonderful support in organizing the evening portion of this year's Festa di Carnevale, and to Piazza Italia for providing our delicious dinner at a significant discount.

As children, all Italians have very fond memories of the Carnevale. We recall having so much fun. Dressing (or even inventing) costumes, playing games, assisting carnival parades with beautiful floating (some of us may even be involved in creating them!), making jokes, eating special treats.... It is a magic time of the year. Every single village has his own tradition and everywhere is a real festa, a children paradise.

The Carnevale is an important piece of our culture that, if it weren't for your help, would go completely lost for our kids.
